Global Children’s Foundation Asks for Prayer for Global Kids

James Lima, Global Children’s Foundation, Founder and Donor Development, asked GCF staff, sponsors, child development center workers, volunteers, child advocates, partners, sponsored children and children awaiting sponsors, along with their parents, to join in a day of prayer and fasting in every month of 10th
“We desire to see a great moving of God’s spirit across this land as presentations are made and people step forward to reach out to children in need,” James Lima said.
According to UNICEF, 1 billion of the 2.2 billion children on the planet live in poverty, often lacking adequate food, shelter, water and health care.
Global Children’s Foundation works with local friends through a unique sponsorship program that helps meet these needs one child at a time. It costs only $30 a month to sponsor a child and provide educational opportunities, health care, nutrition and life skills training, as well as an opportunity to learn about Jesus.
Caring Children’s Home at Orissa – These home shelter 13 children. The current residence offers minimal living conditions. Finances are needed to build a more suitable home for them. To date, we only have about one-third of the required monthly support needed to maintain this Home as desired.
